Dossie Lee Turman Mealer Dossie Lee Turman Mealer, 76, died Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at Vanderbilt Hospital. Mrs. Mealer was a resident of Franklin, a homemaker and member of Leipers Fork Church of Christ. Survivors include seven sons, Charles E. (Gwen) Mealer and Eddie (Shelia) Mealer, both of Franklin, David (Judy) Mealer of Spring Hill, Marvin (Kim) Mealer of Burwood and Larry Mealer, Mike Mealer and Ronald (Polly) Mealer, all of Franklin; a daughter, Linda Sue Mealer of Franklin; a brother, Alfred Turman of California; two sisters, Lottie Andrews of Bellevue and Emily Walton of Bethesda; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, at Franklin Memorial Chapel with Johnny Webb and Oliver Pantall officiating. Burial will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jerry Russell, Chris Kelley, Jason Mealer, Joey Mealer and Stacey Mealer. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today and five hours prior to service.
