Leona Lizar, 52, R.R.1, Yorktown, died early Wednesday afternoon at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Mount Pleasant Township and a lifelong resident of Delaware County. She was a member of the women's auxiliary of the Moose Lodge and the Brother-Sisterhood of Mount Pleasant Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Marion (Barney) Lizar; four sisters, Mrs. Myrl Johnson and Mrs. Alice Badders, both of Muncie, Mrs. Vernea Adkins, Middletown, and Mrs. Iva Weaver, Anderson; and one foster sister, Myrl Bristol, Iowa City, Iowa.
Services will be at Parsons Mortuary at 2:30 p.m. Friday with Rev. Paul Sipe, of Southside Church of God, officiating. Entombment will be in Elm Ridge Mausoleum.
The family will receive callers at Parson Mortuary after 2 p.m. Thursday.
