Lizzie Lee was the daughter of William Watson and Rhoda Lavina Janes Varner. She married Ray Lee, December 10, 1922, in Lawrence County, Arkansas. Together they raised eight children--Opal, Willie, Earl, Leon, Lehman, Beulah, Eugene, and Frank. They experienced one infant death-Jessie Lavon Lee.
