Earl R. Lee age 84 of Strawberry died Friday February 14, 2014 at his home. He was born October 24, 1929 at Delaplaine, Arkansas to Ray and Lizzie Varner Lee. He was retired from White Rodgers in Batesville. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Curia Masonic Lodge in Cave City. He was of the Southern Baptist faith and an ordained deacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Willie B. Lee, Lehman Lee, Leon Lee and infant brother, Jessie Lavon Lee; and one sister, Opal Gillean.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Opal Lee of the home; three sons, Earl Wayne Lee of Pittsburg, Kansas, William B. Lee of Jonesboro and James Andrew Lee of Locust Grove; one daughter, Cara Dickison of Calamine; one brother, Frank Eugene Lee of Paragould; one sister, Beulah Jackson of Russellville, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro Curt Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Lebanon Cemetery located at Eaton with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
