Ms. Lavada Morgan Teston, 77 of Blackshear, passed away Thursday morning (November 25, 2010) at the Satilla Regional Medical Center.
Born in Blackshear on August 6, 1933, Mrs. Teston had lived in Pierce County all of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of Living River Church of God. Mrs. Teston loved the Lord and her family.
She was a daughter of the late Berry & Essie Lee Watson Morgan. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ted Teston; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Ann Teston; 5 sisters, Jeanette Bell, Doris Khodabakhsh, Faye Almond, Juanita Harrison and Jean Landrum; and a brother, Pete Morgan.
Survivors include three sons, Eddie Teston, wife Anita and Freddie Teston, wife Donna all of Patterson and Timmy Teston of Blackshear; a sister, Bobbie Buck of Waycross; two brothers, Parnell Morgan of Fernandina Beach and Berry Morgan, wife Linda, of Patterson; three brothers-in-law, John Almond of Twin City, Dudley Harrison of Lyons and Masovd Khodabakhsh of Waycross; 11 grandchildren, Dreama (Lewis) Leggett, Melissa Cason, Eddie Teston, Jr., Greg (Amy) Teston, Ray (Amy) Teston, Brad Teston, Keena Teston, Dawton Teston, Walker Teston, Byron Teston and Jessica Hunter; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation:
Visitation for Mrs. Teston will be held Saturday evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
Service:
Funeral services for Mrs. Teston will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon (November 28, 2010) from the chapel of Pearson-Dial Funeral Home.
Cemetery:
Interment will be in the Patterson Cemetery.
