Albert "Gene" Justice
Adrian - Albert "Gene: Justice, 74, of Adrian, entered into rest peacefully to await the resurrection, Oct. 27, 2003, surrounded by family.
Gene was born Dec. 8, 1928, in Hoopeston, Ill., the son of Earl and Myrtle (Crose) Justice. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years in the Korean Conflict. In 1952, he married Dolores Callahan in Adrian. She survives.
Gene was retired from the Adrian Post Office and Nob Hill Apartments. He loved gardening and his family. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
In addition to his wife, Dolores, Gene is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Bob) Jablonski of Whitehouse, Ohio, and Jennifer Kuhl of Tecumseh; three sons, Greg Justice, Jeff Justice and Mark (Carolyn) Justice, all of Adrian; two sisters, Marie Brown and Sue Cade, both of Illinois; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; good friends: Bob and Harriet Parish and Don and Rhonda Powell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday at the Purse Funeral Home, Adrian, with Elder Jim Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Purse Funeral Home, Adrian. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, with Military Honors by Adrian VFW Annis-Flint Post 1584.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Lenawee or the Justice family.
