Brenda Sue Tallent Sissel, age 63, of Lizella, Georgia went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. After a year long battle with cancer, Mrs. Sissel passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Lizella. Mrs. Sissel was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Michael Tallent and Kenneth Tallent. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Sissel of Lizella, Georgia; her parents, Mae and Creed Tallent of Chesterton, Indiana; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Amanda Sissel of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Michael Zupko of Monroe, Georgia; siblings and spouses, Jurline and Emil Aloia of Crete, Illinois, William and Julie Tallent of Knoxville, Tennessee, Glenda Kramer of Dublin, Ohio, David and Karen Tallent of Valparaiso, Indiana, Diane and Melvin Harris of Jamestown, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Haley Sissel, McKenzie Broome, Mylan Sissel, Elizabeth Zupko, George Zupko; and many nieces and nephews.
