Daughter of Ezra & Mary Barker, married William Whitbeck Baker 09 Dec 1835 in New York. He was born 09 Dec 1813 in Greene Co., NY and died 04 Dec 1863 in Steuben Co., NY. They were the parents of ten children, several of whom came west with their mother.
(The obituary of Ella A Baker Parsons states that the family moved to Missouri in 1874, but returned to Kossuth County after 6 years. It appears that Rachel, William, David, Ella and maybe George, went to Missouri where Rachel's daughter, Hannah Baker Stone and her husband Neri were living. In 1877, both David & William were married in St Clair County, MO. William returned to Iowa, eventually settling in Hancock County, and David came back to Kossuth County. Ella married M de L Parsons in Kossuth County, in 1881)
