She was the daughter of the late Bennie Palmer Davis and the late Corrie Myers Davis. She was a member of Rivelon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie "Red" Jeffcoat and was the widow of the late Joseph B. Corbett. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Jeffcoat and a daughter-in-law, Pam Jeffcoat.

Survivors include three daughters, Ms. Barbara Hooker of Cope, Mrs. William (Elaine) Hebrard of Norway, and Mrs. Eddie (Donna) Clegg of Orangeburg; three sons, Ray Jeffcoat of Orangeburg, Ronnie (Linda) Jeffcoat of Neeses and Bennie (Wanda) Jeffcoat of Cope; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
