Alice Mosher and Albert Asfahl were married September 3, 1902, in the home of the bride's parents, west of Riceville. They have lived here most all their lives.
They are parents of two daughters; Mrs. Marian Schmidt and Mrs. Lawrence (Margaret) Bird of the Riceville area; and five sons; Ernest, Riceville; Henry and Donald, Rochester, Minnesota; Roy, Des Moines; and Ralph, Cedar Falls. They have 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
