Mrs. Frank, Snook, a former Otsego woman, died at her home in Kalamazoo Sunday morning, aged 62 years, after a brief illness. Mrs. Snook was well known in Otsego, being a sister of the Derhammer boys. She is survived by her husband, three sons: Albert, Harry, and Fred; and three daughters: Mrs. Effie Martin of this place, Mrs. Lottie Kane of Plainwell, and Mrs. Flossie Herrick of Kalamazoo; also five brothers: Joseph of Detroit, Ephriam of South Haven, John H. and Henry of this place, and Jacob of Kalamazoo. Brief funeral services were held in Kalamazoo Tuesday, and the remains were brought to Otsego for burial in Mountain Home cemetery. Mrs. Snook had many friends here, who were grieved to hear her death. Mr. and Mrs. Snook resided in Otsego for more than twenty-five years, moving to Kalamazoo about seven years ago. For the past five years, Mrs. Snook has been deprived of her eyesight, but was very cheerful regardless of this misfortune.
