EPHRIAM DERHAMMER.
Ephriam A. Derhammer died at his home, 1010 South Rose street, Kalamazoo, Sunday night after an illness of 15 years. He was born in Monville, Medina county, Ohio, February 21, 1867, and came with his parents to Otsego when a child. He married Miss Belle Wason, the widow, who with their four children, Mrs. F. F. Bohl, of Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. H. J. Gill, of Cleveland, O., Raymond L., of Oregon City, Ore., and Dale W., of Kalamazoo, survive. Three brothers, Joseph of Detroit, John of this city, and Henry of Plainwell also survive. After leaving Otsego deceased, with his family, located in Allegan and later in South Haven, and ten years ago moved to Kalamazoo. Mr. Derhammer was engaged in the tailoring business for many years. He possessed rare musical ability and engaged in band work wherever he resided and as long as his health permitted. Funeral services were held at the Harrington funeral parlors, Kalamazoo, yesterday afternoon at two o'clock and burial was made in Mountain Home cemetery, this city.
