COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Linda Carolyn Hawkins Phann, 68, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Shipley Cemetery.
Family will receive friends today, Friday, Nov. 19, from 2-9 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. until noon at Whitson Funeral Home and again from noon until time of services at the church.
Mrs. Phann died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Jackson County to the late William and Velma Williams Hawkins.
Mrs. Phann was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church.
Her family includes her husband of 52 years, Jack Phann of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Judy Phann of Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and David Freeman of Bartlett, TN; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert Frank and Len Hawkins of Cookeville, Rev. Doug and Cynthia Hawkins of Lemont, Ill.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Emily Fields of Mason, Ohio, Sylvia Trisdale of Baxter and Faye and Mickey Phipps of Gallatin; and five grandchildren, Josh and Justin Phann, Hannah Durham and Alyssa and Grant Freeman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Hawkins; a sister, Virginia Mabrey; and a father- and a mother-in-law, John and Brina Phann; a niece, Teresa Dyer; three nephews, Gary Fields, Mike Mabrey, and Randy Fields.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Bro. Mark Gaw will officiate the services.

Whitson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
