Elizabeth Hogsett (AKA Hogshead), the daughter of James Hogshead and "Sarah Gordon," was born in ABOUT 1775, dying in 1842. She married John Kerr on 3 Sep 1792. (Her marker says both HOGSETT and HOGSHEAD.)

They had 12 known Kerr children:

On the north side is Jane P. Revercomb, Mrs. Nathaniel Kerr, died 1866 and lists her 12 children. On the east side grandparents Jacob & Mary F. Revercomb and names of their children.

V.B. Kerr (on marker above) is Vincent Brown Kerr, son of Nathaniel Kerr and grandson of John Kerr and Elizabeth Hogsett. He wrote the 36 page booklet, titled Brief History of Kerrs and Kin, 1730 - 1930, Staunton, VA, 1930. Children above are listed in this source, p 13.

I also found the above transcription at http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/augusta/cemeteries/augstoneold.txt that Glenda Lambert-Gibson contributed to US Genweb Archives on 8 Sep 2009, from the Augusta County Historical Society records.

Another marker here begins great grand parents James Kear..... (1725-1812, #101832256 and 59221015) here says ELIZABETH HOGSHEAD ---1842, and gives some slightly different dates/data for some of the same family members. This James' will also says Kear.
