This George Washington Hayes bn 1858 has been confused with George Washington Hayes bn. 1848 in MO. I do not know the death date of GW born in 1848 but I do know the wrong GW is attached to Mary Frances Seevers (Hayes, Thompson) and her children born with GW 1848.

GW 1858 may be the father of GW 1885, Lou Ellen, and James Leslie, but he is not the father of Daisy, Herbert, Charles M, Grace, Pansy and Beatrix.

GW (1848) married Mary Frances Severs in 1878. They went on to have 8 children that I can identify. 1900 census indicates per Mary Frances, she was the mother of 9 but I cannot name or find #9. She married a Thompson in 1903 at age 48 and had no further children.

I would appreciate corrections being made removing the siblings that are incorrectly attached to GW 1858.

GW 1848 and Mary F. had: Daisy, Herbert, James, John, Charles, Grace, Pansy and Beatrix. However, a FAG memorial page will need to be added for GW 1848.

If you want to see George Washington Hayes 1848 and his details, my tree on Ancestry is Cricket's Tree 12 or user name gabbyhayes1946.

Thanks for giving this your attention.

Oh, I believe that GW 1848 is a brother to my grandfather Charles Edward Hayes and the child shown as Not Named, one month old on the 1850 Census for Randolph Co., MO. This is per DNA matches on Ancestry thru GW 1848's decendents.
