Port Arthur--Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Leggett, 80, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Nunnelly Stanley Chapel of the Chimes. The Rev. J. Paul Brown will officiate. He will be assisted by the Rev. W.C. Dishon. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. She died Tuesday in St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness. A native of Greenwood, Mo., Mrs. Leggett had lived here since 1927 and was a member of the First Methodist Church. She is survived by three stepdaughters, Ruth Lavlette of Orangefield, Mrs. John W. Dow of Meridian, Miss., and Mrs. Dora L. Porter of Nederland; a sister Mrs. N.A. Lopez of Hitchcock and a niece.
