Arnold was born August 13, 1921 in McClave, CO to Arnold A. & Rosie J. Orr. He died June 9, 2008 in Colorado Springs, CO leaving behind his loving wife of 62 years, Evelyn R. Orr; daughters, Cynthia (Art) Ott and Deborah (Jerry) Ellzey all of AZ; son, Arnold A. Orr, III of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Brandon Ott and Curtis A. (Becky) Ellzey; four step-grandchildren, Greg, Cathi, Meri & Jay; two sisters, Lela Centner & Irene Brookhart and was preceded in death by his brother James M. Orr.
Arnold served as General Manager for the El Paso County Telephone Company for many years and served in the US Army.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 13, 2008 from 4PM-8PM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue. Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00AM at The Springs Funeral Services with interment to follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Ellicott United Methodist Church, 23252 Highway 94, Calhan, CO 80808.
