SALISBURY - William Howard Knapp, 82, of Salisbury died, Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Rowan Regional Medical Center after a three year period of declining health. Mr. Knapp was born on May 10, 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Grace Lane Knapp and the late Floyd E. Knapp. He is a graduate of Des Moines, Iowa schools. Mr. Knapp was self employed in construction. Survivors include his wife Ossie Randall Knapp of Salisbury, married in 1967; three daughters; six sisters; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, Lyerly Funeral Home.
