The Record has just learned of the tragic death of Jess Boren, a former Huntsville boy, which occurred June 7th, at his home near Denison, Texas, where he had resided several years. It is reported that he shot himself while despondent over his wife's illness and crop failures. The deceased was a brother of Mrs. J. C. Boatright of Fort Gibson, Okla., and an uncle of Mrs. Labe Jones of this city and Mrs. Garland Combs of Hindsville. He is survived by his wife and several children.
