Mrs. Ura S. Gray 88, passed away this morning in her home 522 North Lebanon Street, following a serious illness of two weeks..
Mrs. Gray had resided in Boone county most of her life except for a few years in Kansas and was an active member of Lebanon Congregational Christian church. She had served as chaplin and president of the women's Relief Corps here and was a member and past president of W.R.C..
A native of Boone county the deceased was born January 28, 1871 daughter of Archibald Stewart and Darthula Ann (Dickerson) Boyd. In 1899 she was married at Northfield to Alexander M. Gray who proceeded her in death in 1954. Five brothers and 11 sisters are also deceased..
Among survivors are her two sons George M. Gray of Indianapolis and Chalmer C. Gray Solsberry, a daughter Beulah F. Williams of San Francisco, California, a brother George W. Boyd of Indianapolis, Three half brother Alexander C. Boyd and Benjamin F. Boyd of Coatesville, Thomas Boyd of Indianapolis, and half sister, Cena Dale of Frankfort, six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. .
Friends may call at the Russell and Hitch funeral home after 7:00 p.m. today 1:30 services Saturday with burial at the Brown Wonder Cemetery.
