Mamie L. Robinson, 87, of Galax, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Beverly Healthcare.
She was the widow of Elmer Brooks Robinson.
She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Carroll County to Ralph Wesley and Josie Burton Littreal Lineberry.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Donnie Barker of Galax; a son and fiancé, Benny Robinson and Diane Dean of Slidell, La.; three sisters, Verla Stoneman of Woodlawn, Guyda Hackler of Roanoke and Kate Harmon Angle of Salem; a brother, John C. Lineberry of Galax; a sister-in-law, Jewell Lineberry of Galax; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Thursday at Blue Ridge Chapel Church with burial in the Robinson Cemetery. The Rev. David Moore officiated
