Harvest, Ala. – Thelma Stafford Bryan, 66, passed away Jan. 14, 1997 at Huntsville Main Hospital in Huntsville, Ala.

Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point.

Burial followed at Hebron Cemetery.

A member of Capshaw Baptist Church in Harvest, Bryan was a native of Houston and moved to Harvest in 1970.

She was a hairdresser and widow of James Robert "Bob" Bryan, who died on Jan. 6, 1980. She was the daughter of James Nuland and Mary Lanham Stafford.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Bryan Gay of Athens, Ala.; one son, James "Dee" Bryan of Marietta, Ga.; one sister, Elsie Stafford Wiley of West Point; one brother, John E Stafford of Vicksburg; and six grandchildren, Jason Gay and Amanda Gay of Athens, Ala., and Amy, Abby and Audrey Bryan of Marietta, Ga.

Pallbearers included Larry Stafford, Clarence Wiley, Jr., Billy Wiley, Rick Stafford, Tommy Stafford and Jason Gay.
