OBITUARY: The Paris News, April 15, 1982
Mrs. Mattie Hutchings, 511 S. Fifth St., Hugo, died Wednesday, April 14, in McCuistion Medical Center, Paris, Texas. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 16, in the Church of Christ with Don Smith, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery by Lampton-Mills Funeral Home. Mrs. Hutchings was born April 25, 1893 in Russellville, Al. She had lived in Hugo for 74 years and was a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ. Surviving are three sons, Reghal Hutchings of Lubbock, Tx., Noah Hutchings of Nacona Park and Harold Hutchings of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Geneva Glaze and Juanita Boone, both of Hugo, and Sue Strickland of Bossier City, La.; one brother, Fred Askew of Onak, Wa; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild
