Nelson Nedergaard Anderson was born on 19 May 1871 in Hestlund, Ringkobing Amt, Denmark to Anders Christensen and Elise Johanna Pedersen, the second of five children. Nelson emigrated from Hestlund, Denmark to Concord, Massachusetts with his family in July of 1881. He married Jennie Rebecca Moore and settled in Lowell, Massachusetts. Nelson Anderson died on 18 Oct 1931 in Lowell, Massachusetts and is buried in the Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell, Massachusetts.
