Lucinda passed away shortly after her mother. After her mother passed her father gathered up his large family about 11 children and headed down the Ohio river in route to Iowa from Elkton Cecil County Maryland. Lucinda passed away on this journey and because of fear of indian attack they waited until a full moon lit night to go ashore and give her a proper burial.
