Son of Andrew Boyd Foster and his 1st wife Nancy Catherine (Brewer) Foster.

Married 1) Mamie Livingston. Together they were the parents of daughter Willie F. Foster. Mayme had a 2nd child James Andy in 1902, who took the surname of the man Mayme married in 1921. No clear record if Thomas was the father.

Married 2) Bertha Estella Robertson on Jan. 18, 1911. There were no children from this union.
