Born Feb. 23, 1908, near Taneytown, he was the son of the late
Albert A. and Lillie B. Clingan Frock. He was the husband of the
late Hannah Catherine Baker Frock.
He was a member of the Mayberry Church of God, where he was
a lifetime trustee and longtime treasurer of the Sunday school. He
was also a member of the Taneytown Senior Citizens Association.
He worked as a farmer and for the Pleasant Valley Shoe Factory
and Taney Supply.
He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Viola and Richard
Adkins of Union Bridge and Mary and Donald Carl of Mayberry; sons
and daughters-in-law Robert and Charlene Frock and Charles and
Dorothy Frock, all of Taneytown; brother Russell Frock of Hanover,
Pa.; 11 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and seven
step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
11 a.m. Tuesday from the Mayberry First Church of God with the
Rev. Robert Wills and the Rev. Herbert Myers officiating.
Interment will be in the Church of God Cemetery, Uniontown.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at
the Skiles Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown and 10
to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Contributions may be sent to the
