Edna "Ilene" McClellan, 88, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2010, in Roseburg. Ilene was born June 2, 1922, to Utellus and Edith (Nordquist) Whittle in Ashton, Idaho. She married Bill McClellan on June 8, 1935, the love of her life and soul mate. They played and worked together well and built their home in Camas Valley, Oregon, where the kids finished High School. They moved to Brookings, Oregon, and built a home where they resided for 40 years. Her interests were varied and many; camping, fishing, sewing, cooking and kids, gardening and crafts Ilene was a member of the Brookings Emblem Club, and marching drill team, and also were member of Beaverette Bowling team. She was a Charter Member of the Toastmistress Club in Camas Valley. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, six grandchildren, 15 grand grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, a infant son and all of her nine siblings.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, November 4, 2010, at 2 p.m., at Wilson's Chapel of the Roses. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Shelton, Washington.
In lieu of flowers donations are requested to go to Amedisys Hospice.
