Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 9, 2001, at the Houston Cemetery with Bro. Al Gaspard officiating. Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include three sisters, Lucille Childs of Houston, Kate Word of Snow Flake and Elizabeth May of Memphis; one brother, Robert I. Austin of Oxford; 11 nieces and nephews.
He was precede in death by two sisters and four brothers.
