Doris D. Cole Grauberger of Longmont died Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, at Longmont United Hospital. She was 76.
Mrs. Grauberger was a licensed practical nurse, retiring in 1975. She belonged to Longmont Church of the Nazarene. She moved to Longmont in the 1950's from Boulder.
Born on May 12, 1916, in Liberty Center, Ind., she was the daughter of Homer Donald Cole and Zina Mabel Arnold Cole. She married John Grauberger, Jr. on Sept. 18, 1938 in Lamar. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1986.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Grauberger was preceded in death by two brothers, Rex Cole and Bill Cole, both of Indiana.
Survivors include two sons, John E. Grauberger and his wife Neva of Longmont, and Lee Grauberger and his wife Julie of Littleton; four grandsons, John M. Grauberger and his wife Tina of Loveland, Darel Grauberger and his wife Amy of Nampa, Idaho, and Jason and David Grauberger, both of Littleton; three sisters, Jane Mulzer of Tell City, Ind., Madge Hunt of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Norma Alexander of South Bend, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1994, at Howe Mortuary, 439 Coffman St. in Longmont. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Howe Mortuary Chapel, with Charles Hagemeier, pastor of Church of the Nazarene in Longmont, officiating. Interment will be in Longmont Mountain View Cemetery.
