Mrs. Harold Hamilton Passes Away
Mrs. Grace (Sharkey) Hamilton, 70, Remington, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Home hospital, Lafayette, where she was a patient two days.
She had been in failing health since the death of her husband, Harold J. Hamilton, last May. They were married in 1917.
Born in Chicago, the daughter of William and Amelia (Turner) Sharkey, she came to Remington as a child and attended Remington schools. She was a member of the Remington Methodist church, Order of Easter Star and Amercian Legion Auxziliary.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Lon Dowell and Mrs. Lillian Ford of Remington and Mrs. Mayme Beal of Rensselaer.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Howard funeral chapel, Remington, with Rev. Herbert Osman officiating. Interment was to be in Remington cemetery.
