Mrs. Lillian Ford Dies
Mrs. Lillian Ford, 83, of Remington passed away at the Remington Rest Home at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. She had been in declining health a year.
Born Nov. 17, 1886, she was the daughter of William and Amelia (Turner) Sharkey. She was educated in Carpenter township schools, and was married for Fern Ford in Remington June 19, 1912.
Mrs. Ford was a member of the Remington Methodist church, Eastern Star Chapter 169 and the Dorcas club.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Dowell of Remington and Mrs. Mayme Beal of Rensselaer.
Funeral services were to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Rushton Smith funeral home, Remington, with Rev. David Barnett, officiating. Interment was to be in Remington cemetery.
