Jewell Lee Gill, 101, of Marion, died June 21, 2006, at Livingston Hospital.


Services were June 25 at Gilbert Funeral Home with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.


Survivors include a son, Donald E. (Marie) Gill of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three daughters, Martha (John) Russell of Evansville, Dorothy (Phillip) Hughey of Eldorado, Ill., and Shirley (Eddie) Byford of Marion; a sister, Mary Lucelle (James) Carter of Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister-in-law, Arzella (Rudell) Martin of Kuttawa; a niece, Leota (Herbert) Kelly of Lewisburg, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, David Russell, Gary (Barbara) Russell, Brenda (Gary) Williams, Belinda Lawrence and Gina (Sean) Wagoner, all of Evansville, Phyllis (Gary) Hargis of Duncanville, Texas, Deborah (David) Love of Petersburg, Ill., Robert (Cindy) Hughey of Centralia, Ill., Lynn (David) Lies and Karen Cash of Wichita, Kansas, Jeff (Cheryl) and Kenny (Karen) Gill of Cape Coral, Fla.; 26 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and 12 step-grandchildren, including Jan Wilson of Melbourne, Fla., Denise Payne of Owensboro, Eddie Byford, Lee Byford, and Tim Byford, all of Madisonville.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Gill; two sons, William and Kenneth; and a grandson, Stephan Hughey. Her parents were James E and Annie Horning-Martin.
