BONHAM - Graveside services for Mr. Pascal Lee Preston, age 84, of Bonham will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Philadelphia Cemetery near Gober. Officiating will be Rev. Eddie Frazier. Mr. Preston passed away Sunday, January 28, 2001 in Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
He was born on March 2, 1916 in Yarnaby, Okla., the son of the late Walter and Lynie Robinson Preston. Mr. Preston was married to Thelma Mae Lappin Preston on December 27, 1949 in Durant, Okla. She preceded him in death on June 3, 1998. He was a farmer and of the Penticostal faith.
Mr. Preston is survived by his sons, Bobby Lappin of Ravenna, Doyle Preston of Saltillo, Haskell Preston of Ft. Worth, Virgil Preston of Bonham, Jerry Preston of Mineral Wells, and Roland Preston of Salisaw, Okla.; daughters, Katheryn Preston of Bonham, Doris Preston Croy of Paris and Paula Preston of Grand Prairie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sis Baker; and brother, Edgar Smith Preston. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham was in charge of the arrangements.
