Edgar was the son of Walter Robert & Linnie Bell (Roberson) Preston.
He married Mable Marie Martin in TX on July 10, 1943. On August 7, 1945, they had a daughter whom they named Martin Lockie Carole.
Mable died in Denison on May 25, 1994.
"Edgar "Fatty" S. Preston died on April 20, 1998 from cancer. He had been in the hospital and nursing home for about one and one-half months before his death. Graveside services were held Tuesday April 21th at 4:30 P.M.
The Rev. Keith Taylor officiated. Interment was in the Georgetown Cemetery in Dension, Texas. Under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home."
