Services for Jerry Mitchell Mathis, 52, will be at 2 p.m. today at Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home in Jackson. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Mathis a farmer died Tuesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure.
He is survived by his wife Reta Mae Mathis of Beech Bluff; his mother Dorothy Mathis of Beech Bluff; two daughters and a son, Barbara Ann Wadley and Brandie Leigh Zabrocki both of Jackson and Thomas Mitchell Mathis of Beech Bluff; two sisters and three brothers Kay Walters of Trenton, Brenda Rouse of Pinson, Ray Mathis and James Mathis both of Beech Bluff and Larry Mathis of Lexington.
