Hemorrhage of the Brain Brings Death
Mrs. Louis Bloom of Altona, passed away at 5:13 o'clock Saturday afternoon after only two hours' illness. Hemorrhage of the brain was the cause.
Mrs. Bloom was born August 4. 1877, in Germany and was a resident of Altona for thirty-five years. She was married to Mr. Bloom in 1900.
Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Louis and Joseph, both of Altona, five brothers, Frank Newbauer of Fort Wayne, and John, Joseph, William and Michael Newbauer of Garrett, and two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Lauby of South Randolph street and Mrs. A. C. Smith of South Franklin street.
Mrs. Bloom was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's church.
The funeral will be held at the church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, the Rev. F. A. King officiating. Burial will be made in Calvary.
