Mamie Cash Hite, 87, of Roanoke, formerly of Augusta Co., died Thursday, February 9, 1995, in Friendship Manor. She was the widow of Daniel Harrison Hite and daughter of the late Daniel Gleason and Lisa Fitzgerald Cash. Survivors include two daughters, Geraldine “Candy" Snyder, Augusta Co, Joyce Henderson, Franklin Co.; three sons, Harrison Hite, Augusta Co., Oliver Hite and James Hite, both of Roanoke; one sister, Onie Arnold, Shenandoah; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 1995, in August Memorial Park, Augusta Co., by the Rev. Kay Marsh. The family will be at the home of Geraldine Snyder, 31 Greenview Drive, (Brands Flat) Augusta Co. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son, Salem.
