Mrs. Lottie Cash Chandler, 74, of Route 1, Stuarts Draft, died at the District Home at 10:25 p.m. Thursday.
She was born April 8, 1898, in Nelson County, a daughter of the late Daniel G. and Sarah Fitzgerald Cash, and was a member of White Hill Church of the Brethren in Stuarts Draft.
Her husband, Dennis Dodge Chandler, preceded her in death in June 1964.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Kathleen) McCormick of Stuarts Draft and Mrs. Samuel (Maysie) Kite of Waynesboro; one foster son, John L. Lane of Fishersville; five sisters, Mrs. Mamie Hite of Roanoke, Mrs. Leslie Maddox and Mrs. Pearl Miller, both of Stuarts Draft, Mrs. Onnie Arnold of Shenandoah and Mrs. Odessa McAllister of Waynesboro; three brothers, Hollis H. Cash and Wilbert C. Cash, all of Waynesboro; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in White Hill Church of the Brethren, Stuarts Draft, conducted by the Rev. Joseph May, with interment in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at McDow-Tyree Funeral Home and will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
