Obituary from Wayne Co Press on 12 Oct 1933---
"Elizabeth, daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Withrow, was born in Warwick County, Indiana, January 29, 1842. In early life she moved to Illinois, locating in Wayne County near Round Prairie, where the greater part of her life has been spent. She was united in marriage, March 17, 1859, with James Malone. Fifteen children were born to this union, four of whom died in infancy and one daughter, Susan, died at the age of 21 years. At the age of 44 years she professed faith in Christ and united with the General Baptist Church at Bailey. She remained a faithful member of this congregation throughout the remainder of her life. Her husband preceded her in death September 21, 1903. After the death of her companion she maintained her home for some time and then with her health failing she made her home with her children. For the past several months she has resided with her son, John, in Cisne, where she was cared for until the end, which came Tuesday afternoon, October 3rd, age 91 years, 8 months and 4 days. She is survived by five sons: John of Cisne, Minatree, of Cisne, Marion of Hugerton, Kansas, William of Sims and George of Copeland, Kansas: five daughters, Martha Bullard, of Cisne, Cansada Weaver, of Liberal, Seward County, Kansas, Jane Barnard, of Wayne City, Ellen Warren of Sims, and Nancy Padgett of Colorado: forty grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many old friends and neighbors, who will mourn her passing.

Funeral services were conducted from Bailey Church, Thursday morning at eleven o'clock by Rev. Elmer Keltchner. Interment was in the cemetery near by. "
