9 Aug 1976: Henry W. Demler, 719 E. Maple St., died last evening at his home. He was the husband of Dora M. Bressler Demler. Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late John H. and Carrie Sholley Demler. He was manager of development engineering at AMP Inc., Harrisburg. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, the North Lebanon Twp. Lions Club, Fraternal Order of Elks, Frater[nal] Order of Eagles, and the VFW. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a son, Henry W. Jr., Lebanon, a daughter, Linda Lou, wife of Robert L. Kleinfelter; three grandchildren, Edward, Dorianne, and Kathi; two brothers, John F. and James L., both of Lebanon; six sisters, Dorothy, wife of Robert Sherman, Emma, wife of John Horst, Glenoma Demler and Mrs. Mable Whitman, all of Lebanon, Marian, wife of Frederick Klopp, Lititz, and Elona, wife of Henry Martin, Annville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
