She was born on Sunday, June 16, 1918 to the late John Henry Bressler and Minerva Jane Bressler nee Daub in Lebanon. She was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked in finance under the US Government. Dora was a member of the Senior Center of the Lebanon Valley and enjoyed bingo. She was the last of her immediate family.
Surviving are son Henry W. Demler, Jr., Hudson, FL; grandchildren Edward Demler, Dori Strauss, Kathi Nye; great grandchildren Amanda Wolfe, Bradley Wolfe, Joshua Fisher. She was preceded in death by husband Henry W. Demler Sr.; daughter Linda Demler-Kleinfelter; grandchildren Robert Webber, Sherry Webber.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Christman's Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon.
Burial will be at Ebenezer "Covenant" Cemetery, Lebanon, following the service.
