MRS. PRESTON MUNDELL

Margaret L. Stumbaugh, youngest daughter of James and Barbara Stumbaugh, was born in Lucas county, Iowa, on September 13, 1868, and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Baker, in Lucas, Iowa, on May 20, 1938, at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 7 days.

She was united in marriage to Preston Mundell on March 30, 1887, and to this union two daughters were born, Mrs. Alma Baker and Mrs. Elva Polser, both of Lucas, Iowa.

Besides the two daughters, she is survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, also one brother, Staten Stumbaugh, of Manhattan, Montana, and two sisters, Mrs. Armina Thelander, of Reed Point, Montana, and Mrs. Louisa Mundell, of Chariton, Iowa.

Funeral services, conducted by Rev. A. E. Beals, of Russell, were held at the Beardsley Funeral Home in Chariton on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock and burial was in the Goshen cemetery.
