Born in Muncie the son of George and Hazel Webb Aul, he attended Catholic schools and later Yorktown schools. He had been employed at Aul Brothers Tool and Die for 40 years and had been recognized by Dana Corp. with two awards, 100 Percent Production Award and 100 Percent Delivery Award.

Norman was very much a family man, enjoying camping and traveling with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, George, Howard and Raymond; and a sister, Thelma Columbus.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Parson Mortuary with Pastor James Lyon officiating. Burial will follow in the Hawk Cemetery near Yorktown. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. and a half-hour before the funeral at the Parson Mortuary.
