Mary was born on December 12, 1935 in Delaware County to George and Hazel (Webb) Aul. She attended Yorktown High School and married Lloyd Reed on March 1, 1952 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Muncie. Together they would raise their six children.
Lloyd and Mary owned and operated Reed Plastic Tops in Muncie.
Mary was a member of the Moose Lodge, bowled in several leagues, and enjoyed playing euchre and bingo.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Lloyd Reed; her children, Christina Staton (husband, Paul), Richard Reed, Danny Reed (wife, Tracey), Todd Reed (wife, Tanya), Ronald Reed (wife, Lisa), and Tina Selvey; a brother, Jerry Aul; two sisters, Loraine Greer, and Darlene Lee; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert Aul, John Aul, and Norman Aul; and three sisters, Corene Greer, Lucille Barnes, and Thelma Columbus.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, 200 S. Hartford St., Eaton.
Memorials may be made in her name to the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Miami, FL 33131.
