The funeral service will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday at St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
The rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hearst lived in this area all her lifer. The former J. Bernice Stecher, she was born July 16, 1912, in Muscatine. Her parents were Albert and Mary [McGee] Stecher. She was married in St. Mary's Church to Carl Hearst on June 25, 1935. She was a member of the St. Mary's Church.
Survivintg are her husband; three sons, Robert Hearst, Cedar Rapids, Eugene Hearst, Muscatine and Thomas Hearst at home; three brothers, Raymond and Bernard Stecher, Durant and Lyle Stecher, Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. Allen [Alberta] Awbrey, Stockton and Mrs. Charles [Mary] Daufeldt, Muscatine; her mother, who lives here, and three grandchildren.
