Cyrene and Lillian were married on January 16, 1885, in the St. George Temple. He was 21 and she not quite 16. She later was of the opinion that 16 was quite young to be married. They lived in Orderville until 1898 (almost 13 years) and six children were born to them-- the oldest two died while quite young. During these years they saved their money and bought land in the new town of Enterprise in Washington County. The land was cheap but the water was expensive.
