Homer Foley, 61, Rt.3, Elwood, died at 2:36 P.m. Wednesday, September 8, 1982 at Tipton County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born August 19, 1921 in Bryants Store, KY, he was teh son of Hugh and Amanda (Garland) Foley and was married in 1946 to Edith Hampton, who survives. He was a retired employee of Firestone in Noblesville and was a member of a Baptist church in Kentucky.

Surviving are one daughter, Lois Foley; one son, Max Foley, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Sowders of Barbourville, KY, Barbara Henderson of Great Bend, KS, Alma Carr of Tampa, FL, and Billie Jo Bays of Artumus, KY; three brothers Hubert Foley of Chicago, IL, James Foley of Barbourville, KY, and Arthur Foley of Halls, TN.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Copher Fesler Funeral Home with Rev. John Dorney officiating. Burial will be in the Curtisville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
