Francis, known as Fannie, was the daughter of Esther (Rader) and Pettis Finch. She was first married to Sylvester Flemming as his second wife. To this union was born three sons; John, Harley and Lane. Sylvester also had four children from his first marriage; Effie, Elsie, Roxanna and Harry.
Sylvester died in 1900 and Fanny remarried in 1917 to Frank Poffenbarger. Fanny died in 1941 at the age of 88.
