Son of George Washington Cochran and Nancy (Vann) Galcatcher.
Husband of #1 Mary Frances (Cummins) Cochran and #2 Mary (Goswick) Cochran.
Father of Sue Nell, Thelma Blossom, Amos Starr, Stanley George, Frances Ruth, Harold Hugh, Jarold John, Bertha Lou, and Bettye June (all with wife #1).
His grandchildren called him "Pa".

OBITUARY:
Funeral services for a life-long Catoosan, George Cochran, 87, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, in the First Baptist Church of Catoosa, where he was a member. Rev. Ted Winn of Afton officiated. He died August 28 in a Tulsa hospital. Born December 29, 1888, west of Claremore, I.T., Cochran had worked at Spartan Aircraft and was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home at 17835 East Pine Street; one son, Stanley of Catoosa; three daughters, Sue Nell Willett, Tulsa, Thelma Martindale and Ruth Bridges, both of Catoosa; 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Joe and Claude, both of Claremore, and Wade of Catoosa; two sisters, Lethie Hartwell, Long Beach, Calif., and Gladys Stout, Claremore. Grandsons and great-grandsons, John Martindale, Tom, David and Richard Williams, Mike and Mark Martindale, and Bob Nichols, Jr., served as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Interment was in Dick Duck Cemetery under direction of Kennard Funeral Service.
